Oklahoma running back Joe Mixon will not report for team activities while the freshman is being investigated for allegedly assaulting a 20-year-old female OU student early last Friday morning.

The OU athletics department issued a statement Wednesday evening confirming that Mixon won’t be with the team when practices begin Thursday morning.
